The essentials, all in one place.

LIVE map, players, and safe actions

How to use the LIVE map, filters, teleport, and spawn controls, and safely verify actions involving players, vehicles, flags, and chests.

On this page

LIVE map provides a private admin view of the current game world. It helps to find a player or an object, check the situation and perform the allowed action without manually rewriting the data. It is not intended for public sharing of players' location.

Opening and basic control

Go to SCUM LIVE map and check the server in the top bar. You can zoom the map from 1× to 64×, reset the view, refresh it manually or open it in a separate window.

The search finds a nickname, object type or sector. Filters separately turn on players, vehicles with an owner, vehicles without an owner, flags and chests. The default setting intentionally hides ownerless vehicles to keep the map readable.

Sidebar

The sidebar uses the same list of online players and chat as LIVE monitor. So you don't have to switch between pages when moderating. If the data diverges, the time of the last data collection and player synchronization is decisive.

Right-click actions

Click LocationAvailable Options
PlayerTeleport to a player, open a profile or prepare a spawn at a player
Empty map spotTeleport to location, prepare spawn or copy coordinates
VehicleSpawn nearby or destroy selected vehicle
FlagDestroy the entire base belonging to the flag
ChestRemove selected chest

Spawn supports items, vehicles, zombies, armed NPCs, animals, and Razor. The availability of a specific option depends on the authorization and the current connection.

Height when spawning into an empty space

The map itself does not determine the height of the terrain. When spawning on an empty point, you must enter a Z value or select a nearby current object as the height source. Using the wrong height can create an object under the map or in the air.

Safe action procedure

  1. Verify server, data collection time and correct destination.
  2. For the player, compare the nickname with the profile; don't just rely on location.
  3. For a destructive action, read the range and enter the required confirmation.
  4. After sending, wait for the final result.
  5. Refresh the map and verify the result in the corresponding log.

Be especially careful when destroying a vehicle, flag, base or chest. If the request ends with a timeout, the result is uncertain. Do not repeat it automatically until you have verified the state of the world.

Map collection settings

At LIVE settings, world collection is enabled and the world collection and player synchronization interval is set. Saving does not require restarting the game. A shorter interval increases the timeliness, but also the load; so use verified values.

Example from Main

As of 1 September 2026, world data collection was enabled every 30 seconds and players synced every 5 seconds. The last successful collection contained 849 objects: 3 players, 280 vehicles, 29 flags and 537 chests. The number of objects alone is not a warning; the OK status and data collection time are important.

When the map does not fit

  • The object is not displayed: turn on its filter and refresh the map data.
  • The player is in the old place: check the freshness of the player synchronization.
  • Action is unavailable: verify role, NODERA-RCON readiness and fresh server proof.
  • The spawned object appears incorrectly: check the Z value or height source used.
