Contact email verification
How to add or change a contact address, confirm the verification link, and resolve an undelivered message.
On this page
The contact e-mail is used for messages about your account, orders and support. It is separate from the login method: you can login with Steam while using a different verified email address.
How to add or change the address
- Log in and open Profile.
- Next to E-mail, click edit.
- Enter an address you can access and save the change.
- Read the notification in Profile and check the verification deadline.
- Open the latest verification message and confirm the link.
- Go back to Profile and verify that the notification has disappeared.
Why saving alone is not enough
A saved but unconfirmed address does not yet prove that you control the mailbox. Therefore, a logged-in user without a verified e-mail cannot create or reply to a ticket. Verification may also be required to assign a guest order to an account.
The profile shows a specific deadline until which the address must be confirmed. This term takes precedence over the general example in the documentation.
Resend message
If the address is unverified, Profile will offer a resend button. Use it once and work with the latest email. The older link may no longer be valid.
When the email does not arrive
- Check the typo in the address shown in Profile.
- See Spam, Junk mail and automatically sorted folders.
- Search for Nodera as the sender or in the message subject.
- Use Resend and wait for the latest message.
- If the problem persists, please contact support and include the approximate time of the attempt and the email domain, not all sensitive data.
Frequent situations
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Login via Steam works, but ticket does not | Fill in and verify the contact email in Profile. |
| You have changed your email | Confirm the new address; the status of the original address is not transferred. |
| You opened an old verification email | Use the latest message or resend it. |
| Guest order not showing | Log in and verify the same normalized contact address that was used in the order. |
The verification link is private. Do not post it in a ticket, public discussion or screenshot.
