Warzones
How to configure rotating PvP battle zones, start conditions, rewards, taxi, loot, player messages, and event monitoring.
On this page
Warzones create regular time-limited PvP events in selected parts of the map. The module can alternate zones, wait for enough online players, announce the start and end, count legitimate kills, distribute rewards, spawn bonus loot and offer paid BTC taxi.
For the community, this means a predictable goal and focused PvP without the admin having to manually coordinate each round. It is important for the administrator to set the whole cycle, not just to draw a circle.
Where to find it
- Warzones → Overview - current or last round, readiness and manual actions.
- Warzones → Settings - activation, rotation, zones, messages, taxi and rewards.
- Warzones → Spawn points - points and packages for bonus loot.
- Warzones → Spawn logs – results of individual loot attempts.
- SCUM Content → Warzone info - Public explanatory content for players.
Most important settings
- Engine, rollout and autostart: autorotation only works when all necessary switches are enabled. Saving the zone by itself does not trigger the event.
- Round Length: determines how long the Warzone is active.
- Random break: minimum and maximum time between rounds. The new round will receive a random start time in this range.
- Minimum online players: automatic waits until there are enough players. Zero will enable start even on an empty server. Manual start by the administrator deliberately bypasses the minimum.
- Zone pool: each zone has a name, sector, center, radius, rank and state. The disabled zone does not enter the rotation.
- Kill Rules: you can require a player and optionally an attacker to be killed in the zone. Rewards and losses can be set for FAME, BTC, regular money and gold.
- Player command: for example
/warzonewill send the current state, sector and time to the requester. The color does not change the private nature of the response. - Taxi: own command, cost in BTC, cooldown and minimum distance from the zone protect the function from abuse.
- Loot: interval, number of points, item sets, chat messages and optional bonus packs.
Recommended setup procedure
- Choose the right server and prepare at least two zones with a safe radius. Check them on the map and leave automatic starts off for now.
- Set duration, break and minimum number of players. Prepare an understandable waiting message for the situation when there are not enough players.
- Set which kills count and conservative rewards. A negative value means a penalty for the victim.
- Edit messages for start, end, status and loot. Each non-empty line of the chat template is sent separately.
- If you use a taxi, choose a unique command, cost, cooldown, and safe destination. It must not match another slash command.
- Create locations on Spawn points and assign only tested packages. Then do one manual round.
- Check kills, rewards, taxi, Discord and Spawn logs. Allow automatic startup only after a successful test.
What the player sees
Before or during the round, the player writes /warzone and gets the current status. After the start, the server will announce the zone and duration. A kill is only counted according to the location rules saved for that round. A player outside the zone can use a taxi if they meet the distance, cooldown and have enough BTC. After the end, the event is closed, another break is set and the next cycle is displayed.
Taxi does not mean free teleport anywhere. The target is calculated by the module and the result is tracked; in the event of a definite failure, BTC is resolved according to the result of the operation.
Example from the Main server
Status of the database as of 1 September 2026.
| Setting | Main value |
|---|---|
| Cycle | 60 minutes active zone, random break 45-60 minutes, minimum 7 players online. |
| Zones | C2, Z1, B2 and A3 LOS POTKANOS allowed; another A3 zone off. Radii approximately 208–397 m. |
| Commands | /warzone for status, /wztaxi for taxi. |
| Taxi | 1.5 BTC, cooldown 300 seconds, player must be at least 300m outside the active zone. |
| Kill reward | Attacker +2 FAME and +5 BTC; victim −1 FAME and −0.5 BTC. Regular money and gold off. |
| Loot | On, random every 7-15 minutes, one point per cycle; selected three bonus gear packs. |
There were 146 completed events in the database. It's history, not the number of events in the current wipe.
Checking and troubleshooting
- Warzone won't start: check engine, rollout, auto-start, scheduled time, minimum players and at least one allowed zone.
- The command does not respond to: verify the trigger and check for collisions with Packs, BTC, Duels, or Eventzones.
- Kill not counted: the exact position of both players and the rules saved at the start of the round decide, not just what the player saw on the screen.
- Loot did not appear: open Spawn logs. Differentiate pending, successful, skipped, erroneous and unclear result.
- Discord shows old status: check webhook, last sync and freshness of server data. Discord panel is not a substitute for event recording.
