SCUM Control Panel and license activation
How to take over the license, choose the mode of operation, monitor the server and safely enter its administration.
On this page
SCUM Control Panel is the customer portal for licenses, servers and NODERAgent. You can only see services belonging to your logged-in Nodera account or servers to which you have accepted an administrator's invitation.
What you need to get started
- logged in Nodera account via Google, Discord or Steam,
- an active service or a one-time license download code,
- supported Windows access for your own dedicated server,
- with Managed Hosting, only a ready order and free capacity of the service.
Account license takeover
- Log in to the account that should remain the owner of the service.
- Open SCUM Control Panel.
- Enter the one-time code from Nodera in the license download field.
- Confirm the action and check the plan name, status and number of available installations.
- Safely delete the code after success; Control Panel will not show it again in its entirety.
The public license number is not a secret code and is not enough to take over a foreign service. Ownership is tied to the exact logged in profile, not just the matching email.
What appears on the license tab
| Data or action | What it means |
|---|---|
| Plan and status | whether the service is authorized for use and to what extent |
| Used installations | how many servers are already using the allowed license limit |
| Create Managed Server | Nodera will prepare a new isolated hosted instance if the plan allows it |
| Prepare Custom Server | creates a one-time installation package for a supported Windows Custom Server |
| Server status | preparation, readiness, associated version and other available steps |
Not every license offers both modes of operation. The Control Panel will only display actions allowed by the plan, available installation capacity and the current signed release.
Managed Hosting or own server?
| Managed SCUM Hosting | Custom Supported Server |
|---|---|
| Nodera prepares the SCUM server and NODERAgent | the customer manages the Windows server and its basic operation |
| you can see the procedure in the Control Panel in percentages and steps | Control Panel will provide a one-time installation file and a precisely bound signed package |
| access to administration will be opened after Ready status | access will be opened after successful connection and check NODERAgent |
Access to server administration
When the server is ready, the Control Panel will display the option to manage it. Use the same Google, Discord or Steam account via Admin login. Nodera will create restricted access to owned or delegated servers only; it is not a platform-wide owner account.
If you do not see a certain module in the administration, it may be restricted by the plan, server status, NODERAgent version or your role. A direct link to a hidden page does not extend the permission.
Current example
As of 1 September 2026, there was one active customer connection with a successfully connected installation in the checked data. The Control Panel could therefore show them the server and offer access to limited administration without disclosing internal accounts or operating secrets.
When the license or server is missing
- Verify that you are logged in to the account that took over the license.
- Check your order, license status and number of installations used.
- When inviting an administrator, check if it was accepted by the same profile.
- If the service remains hidden, create a ticket with the plan name and approximate time; do not send a one-time code or the entire one-time installation file.
