Eventzones

How to create permanent event zones with your own teleport command, cooldown, kill rules, rewards and clear metrics.

On this page

Eventzone is a permanent named area on the map that the player can enter with their own chat command. Unlike Warzone, it doesn't have to have a start, end, or auto-rotation. It is suitable for permanent PvP arenas, community event locations or locations with special rewards for kills.

Where to find it

What do you set for the zone

  • Name and status: the name should be understandable to the player. The disabled zone does not accept teleports or new kill rewards.
  • Chat command: for example /event. Must be unique across Packs, BTC, Warzones, Duels and other slash commands.
  • Center, edge and radius: from these points, Nodera will determine a circle and a safe random target position.
  • Reference spawn and distance: determine where around the zone the player can be safely moved.
  • Cooldown: time during which the same player cannot use the command again after a successful teleport. A failed attempt will not trigger a cooldown.
  • Kill rules: a kill only counts when both attacker and victim are inside the allowed zone.
  • Rewards and losses: separate values of FAME, BTC, common money and gold for attacker and victim.

How to start the zone safely

  1. Choose a server in the upper selector and create a zone as disabled for now.
  2. Enter a name and a unique command. Use a simple form without spaces.
  3. Set the geometry and spawn so that the target is not in a building, rock, water or outside the event space.
  4. Set a reasonable cooldown. For a permanent arena, the cooldown prevents repeated instant return after death.
  5. Start with small rewards. With overlapping allowed zones, the same kill can be legitimately evaluated in each of them.
  6. Save, enable the zone and teleport with the test player. Check the result, target, cooldown and response to player.
  7. Test one authorized and one unauthorized kill and compare them in the Metrics.

What happens to the player

After the player enters the command, Nodera checks the zone, player identity, cooldown and availability of NODERAgent. A successful teleport will move the player to a safely calculated location and only then will the cooldown begin. If the agent is unavailable or the teleport fails, the player should not be penalized with a cooldown. An unclear result will temporarily block another attempt until an administrator evaluates it; it protects against a double move or reward.

When killed, the position saved in the kill event is used. The reward cannot be obtained only by the player entering the circle additionally after the fight.

Example from the Main server

Status of the database as of 1 September 2026.

SettingsMain example
ZoneLOS POTKANOS, radius approximately 208 m.
StatusDisabled. The saved configuration is therefore not an active teleport menu.
Command and cooldown/event, 180 seconds.
Spawn distance350 m from the border according to the configured reference point.
Reward+0.5 BTC for a legitimate kill; other rewards and losses off.
Historical attempts166 successful, 38 denied by cooldown, 1 expired and 13 pending records.

Historical attempts do not mean that the zone is on today. Current availability is determined by the state of the zone on the selected server.

Most common problems

  • The command does nothing: check that the zone is enabled, the trigger is unique, and the agent reports teleport support.
  • The player is still on cooldown: see the time of the last successful attempt in Metrics. A failed attempt should not trigger it.
  • Teleport ended up in the wrong place: disable the zone and fix the reference spawn or geometry before re-enabling it.
  • Kill has no reward: both players must be inside, the zone must be enabled, and the kill event must contain a sufficiently fresh location.
  • The same kill appeared in multiple zones: check the circle overlap. The module evaluates each allowed zone separately.
