How to add a SCUM server administrator
The difference between a Nodera administrator and an in-game admin, including invitations, Steam identity setup, and safe access removal.

There are two distinct types of authorization in server administration. The web administrator works in selected Nodera modules. Game admin uses admin commands directly in SCUM. You can assign one or both rights according to the person's role.

Inviting a web administrator
- Log in as license owner or owner.
- Select the correct SCUM server in the administration.
- Open Server Admins.
- Create a one-time invitation and send it through a secure channel to a specific person.
- The invitee opens the link, logs into their existing Nodera account and accepts the invitation.
- After acceptance, check their status in the list and have them test Admin login.
The invitation has a limited validity, belongs to one server and cannot be used a second time after acceptance. The invited administrator cannot transfer the right to another person.
Add game admin
- On the same screen, select the game admins section.
- Add one valid Steam identity per line; do not include a nickname or profile link.
- Save the desired list.
- NODERAgent will load the current state and securely sync both supported admin files.
- After a successful result, the affected player logs out and logs back into the game.
SCUM server does not need to be restarted for this change. NODERAgent will create a backup before writing, preserve existing external records that Nodera does not manage, and delete only previous records managed through this screen.
When you want to withdraw the right
- Revoking web access only removes the delegated authority in Nodera.
- Removing the game identity from the managed list will ask NODERAgent to reconcile the game files.
- If a person had both types of rights, remove each one separately.
- Removing the delegation does not change the owner of the license or access to another server.
Why the administrator can't see the server
- Check that the correct Nodera profile accepted the invitation.
- Verify that the invitation has not expired or been cancelled.
- Have them log out and log in to the administration again.
- Check active license and server status.
- For game rights, verify the connected Steam account and the successful result of the synchronization.
Do not copy entire lists of player identities into the documentation, ticket, or chat. All you need for support is the server name, approximate time, and secure sync status.
