Nodera / Documentation

The essentials, all in one place.

Contact forms, email and tickets

How to create a form, process an incoming message, configure email delivery, and resolve a ticket.

On this page

Nodera supports two main contact paths. The contact form is suitable for the first message from the web; a ticket is a private conversation with history and solution status. Setting up email ensures notifications, but the record in the administration remains an important point of control.

Create a contact form

  1. Create or select a definition in Forms.
  2. In the Form Editor add the required fields, their labels, required state, and order.
  3. Set up a confirmation for the visitor and an internal message for the team.
  4. Check the recipients and whether the form is active.
  5. Send a secure test message without personal information.

Only ask for the data necessary to process the request. Passwords, tokens and login codes do not belong in the form.

Contact messages received

In the contact message module, you can mark the record as new, read, answered or archived. Changing the status helps the team, but it doesn't have to send the email to the customer by itself. Open attachments only when you expect them and know their purpose.

E-mail sending settings

In SMTP settings the administrator sets the sender and the connection with the mail service. A sensitive password should not be displayed in plain text after saving. To verify, use the available test and check the receipt of the message in the destination mailbox.

A "queued" message means that Nodera has accepted the message for processing. Final delivery will only be confirmed by the email provider or the delivery status.

Working with tickets

In Tickets you will find all cases, in Unresolved and in Resolved for completed cases. You can modify the behavior of the module in Ticket settings.

StatusWhen to use it
Openticket waiting for first processing
CheckingThe team is actively reviewing the issue
Answeredcustomer received an answer or question
Closedsolution is closed
Rejectedthe request will not be processed and the reason is explained

An internal note is intended for the team and is not visible to the customer. Therefore, never write a public answer only as an internal note.

Current example

As of 1 September 2026, the selected Nodera website had 4 active contact form definitions and no new unread messages. A value of zero for new messages means a clean work queue, not a disabled form.

When the e-mail did not arrive

  1. Check if the message or ticket has been saved in administration.
  2. Verify the recipient address and delivery status.
  3. Check spam and email quarantine.
  4. Run a secure SMTP test if you are authorized to do so.
  5. For repeated error, create ticket with time and message type, not password.
