Monitoring
Live player and chat monitor
Live Monitor combines current players, game chat and protected messages in one operational window for SCUM server administration.
Live player and chat monitor is an operational view for staff who need to follow a server continuously. The current player list, game chat and available communication actions stay together without constant page switching.
Players and communication in one window
Live Monitor works well on a second screen or in a separate window during events, community support and active moderation.
What the team can see immediately
The interface uses the selected server context and the same current player data as the rest of Nodera.
- a filterable list of currently online players
- continuously updated game chat with access to older history
- global and player-targeted messages
- a combined view that can run in its own operational window
Common Live Monitor workflows
It is most valuable when quick orientation and clear communication matter.
- moderate chat during busy periods
- coordinate players during an event or planned restart
- respond quickly to a specific online player
- watch the service return to normal after an operational event
Current information without direct browser access
Nodera reads stored, server-separated data delivered through NODERAgent. The browser does not connect directly to the game server or create a second player and chat source.
Sending a message uses a narrowly authorised accessd protected command and remains auditable. When information is not fresh, the interface reports that state instead of presenting it as current.
Faster responses with less context switching
Administrators keep a shared operational picture and communicate with players without losing sight of what is happening on the server.
