Monitoring
Availability monitoring and alerts
Automated SCUM server availability checks detect outages, stale data and degraded health, giving the operations team an early signal.
Availability monitoring and alerts check whether a server is not only running but also capable of delivering important functions. A game outage, inactive NODERAgent or stalled data feed can be distinguished and handled according to the real cause.
Available does not always mean healthy
Nodera can flag a degraded state where the website responds but player data, logs or the protected command connection are no longer current.
Multiple layers of health checking
Each check has a specific meaning and a timestamp for its latest successful result.
- availability of the game process and connected server
- NODERAgent activity and expected delivery service roles
- freshness of player, map and log data
- health of the connection required for protected administrative operations
How alerts help an operations team
An early signal reduces the time between a problem beginning and the first correct response.
- detect an overnight outage without waiting for a player ticket
- separate a full outage from delayed data collection
- check stability after an update or maintenance action
- give administrators and support a shared operational context
Signals tied to the correct server
Nodera evaluates recent successful checks in the context of the selected server. One inactive server cannot contaminate the health of the rest of the fleet, and staff know exactly which environment needs attention.
An alert is a reason to verify the situation, not automatic permission to restart. Sensitive actions remain a separate confirmed workflow.
Shorter incidents and more precise responses
The team reacts to a specific problem with better context, and the community no longer has to be the server’s first monitoring system.
