SCUM map zones and High Loot
Read native SCUM zones, view them on a map and safely configure loot multipliers with hash checks, backup and reload.
Map zones and High Loot combine native zones created in SCUM Server Settings with a visual overview and controlled loot multipliers. Administrators can see zone location and extent, edit supported values and deploy them without directly replacing the file.
High Loot multiplies probability and quantity; it does not invent a loot tier
GeneralZoneModifiers.json affects world and examine spawner probability or quantity. It cannot guarantee a specific weapon and does not replace verified loot preset overrides.
What the map workflow provides
Nodera combines a view-only SCUM.db state record with active JSON zones for the selected server.

How zones can shape gameplay
A well-designed zone concentrates activity without changing the whole map.
- create a dangerous military region with more likely or abundant loot
- make an event area temporarily more attractive
- differentiate server regions without a global increase
- visually verify coordinates before deployment
A fresh state record before every write
NODERAgent reads explicitly permitted native-zone tables in view-only mode and includes the current GeneralZoneModifiers.json hash. Nodera accepts apply only from the latest successful, sufficiently fresh state record.
The agent compares the live hash again before writing and replacement, creates a backup, validates JSON and verifies the result. An unconfirmed reload remains a visible failure even when file writing succeeded.
Better activity design without blind experimentation
Operators know where a zone is, which loot behaviour it affects and which live version the deployment was based on.
